Petting Zoo: Recovered Bald Eagle Released

Season 53 Episode 22 | 1m 59s

Last October, the bald eagle crashed into a fence, causing him to injure his wing and lose his ability to fly. After receiving extensive surgery, treatment, and thorough rehabilitation, the eagle is now ready to make his return to the wild! He took flight at Bluestone Lake in West Virginia, a known bald eagle habitat since the 1990's due to conservation efforts and an abundance of fish to eat.
