Akron Symphony Orchestra
The Akron Symphony Orchestra debuts its new, 14-part podcast " Unorchestrated." The series begins with award-winning Akron poet Rita Dove's book of poems, "Sonata Mulattica," about the troubled relationship between Ludwig van Beethoven and Black violinist George Bridgetower.
Notre Dame College
The Notre Dame College Performing Arts center hosts a virtual concert of the school's fall band showcase. The performance, featuring student soloists and three small chamber band groups, livestreams Saturday, November 21, at 7 p.m., via the school's Facebook page.
Canton Palace Theatre
To celebrate its 94th anniversary, the Canton Palace presents the acclaimed pop rock band Hey Monea as part of its Local, Live concert series. While there will be a small audience, the concert also streams live online for in-home viewing Saturday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m.
Chagrin Valley Little Theatre
Chagrin Valley Little Theatre presents a virtual production of the LGBTQ holiday play " Matt's First (Real) Thanksgiving" November 20-22. Written by Stow native Brandi Eaton the play, about a gay son coming out to his parents over Thanksgiving, got its world-premiere last season.
Music Box Supper Club
The Music Box presents a virtual concert featuring Cleveland blues/rock group the Armstrong Bearcat Band. The livestream takes place Thanksgiving eve, Wednesday, November 25, at 8 p.m.
