How can I access WORLD programs?

• WVIZ 25.1: Tune in to WVIZ’s main broadcast on channel 25 for similar programming. You can also stream WVIZ live online. 
  
• PBS app: Access the WORLD shows you love with the free PBS app.

Why is this happening?

WORLD recently announced a reduction in the variety of programs included in the schedule, particularly some of the documentaries that were an important part of the lineup.

In addition, following the recent Congressional decision to rescind all federal funding for public media, adjustments to expenditures were necessary.

Many programs currently on the WORLD channel are available from other sources, such as WVIZ’s main channel and the free PBS app.
