LakewoodAlive’s 10 th annual “Front Porch Concert Series” is being held virtually on their Facebook Page. Concerts take place Fridays at 7:00 p.m. through August 21. The Friday, July 10, performance features jazz/blues band Red Light Roxy.
University Circle- Circle Food Tour
How does root vegetable risotto with pulled chicken sound for Sunday dinner? Don’t worry if you never cooked it. Sunday, July 12, at 6:00 p.m., Chef Zack Bruell of L’Albatros will demonstrate how to make the dish on both University Circle’s Facebook and YouTube page. Bruell’s the first of six University Circle chefs who will be sharing their culinary skills as part of “Circle Food Tour.” You can order a meal kit directly from the restaurant or check out a list of ingredients online.
Lake Erie Ink - Summer Ink Online Creative Expression Camps - Session 2
Fostering a love of writing in our youth is still possible this summer with Lake Erie Ink's various online writing camps. The camp programs range from grades 3 to 8. Session 2 begins July 13 and ends on July 30.
Artists Archives of the Western Reserve- “The Ardent Thread”
Textiles can be more than the seat covers, rugs and clothes we wear. Nine regional artists who work with fiber will have their work showcased in the virtual exhibit “The Ardent Thread.” The exhibit will be on view beginning Thursday, July 16, with a virtual opening reception from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. on Zoom.
