The Sound of Ideas Community Tour: One Small Step Across The Political Divide

Featured Audio

Over the past few months, Ohioans have reached across the political divide by talking to one another as part of the One Small Step project. ideastream and StoryCorps have teamed up on One Small Step to allow people to share personal experiences and the reasons behind their beliefs during virtual one-on-one conversations that seek to find common ground and humanity among political opposites. Mike McIntyre, ideastream’s executive editor, will convene some of the participants for a listening event where they’ll talk about what they learned from each other, and whether the conversations changed the way they view the other side. We’ll also discuss how our community can come together after one of the most divisive elections in modern history. On today's The Sound of Ideas, we present The Sound of Ideas Community Tour: One Small Step Across the Political Divide which was originally broadcast on Facebook Live on Tuesday, November 17th.
