Northeast Ohio’s High Infant Mortality More than one thousand times every year an Ohio born baby is laid to rest. Dead before reaching its first birthday. The larger truth is that Ohio is among the worst places a child can be born and expect to survive. And the urban counties of Cuyahoga and Summit are worse than the Ohio average. If you don't care for humanitarian reasons try the economics. It's costing us billions. What's being done, or should be, with host Rick Jackson Thursday morning at 9:00 on The Sound of Ideas.
