Nearly two-thirds of Ohio adults are overweight or obese, making Ohio the fifth heaviest state in the nation. Obesity is more than a weight problem – it’s a community health issue that leads to preventable illness such as diabetes and heart disease. It also contributes to skyrocketing health care costs.
