There's a story about America that just about everybody knows: that we are a nation of boot-strapping entrepreneurs. Yeah, well, as it turns out, that's not so true. The truth about entrepreneurship doesn't much involve biotech or micro-processors. In fact, according to local professor and author Scott Shane, the typical entrepreneur works harder and makes less than those of us working 9 to 5 for someone else.
