It's Election Day.  Maybe you voted early in person or by mail, or maybe this show will be your reminder to head over to your polling location during your lunch break, or after work, to cast your ballot.

Whatever your voting plan is, we've worked to help give you solid information to make your decision. If you're still looking for info, check out our voter guide.

Today, on the "Sound of Ideas," we get to work bringing you news about how Election Day is playing out at the polls and in the results. Ideastream reporters and editors will also be at the office and in the field all night.

The big races, of course, are the close one for US Senste, the Cuyahoga County Executive race, the battle to represent the 13th Congressional District and Issue 10, the citizen-led charter amendment in Akron that would create a civilian police oversight board.

We're going to start today's show by checking in at the polls with reporter Gabriel Kramer, who is out in the Tremont neighborhood on Cleveland's West side this morning talking to voters in line. Also in studio is Ideastream Deputy Editor for News Andrew Meyer, who will weigh in on what we're looking at closely today and why.  And by phone we have League of Women Voters of Ohio Executive Director Jen Miller.
