Starting last week, the "Sound of Ideas" has been bringing you conversations with octogenarians discussing their lives and careers. These seniors are still making an impact in our community. Crain's Cleveland Business last month named outstanding octogenarians in its annual Eight over 80 awards. Wednesday, we heard from Zadie Barber, the 89-year-old who frequently volunteers at Eliza Bryant Village.
Today, we'll learn about 84-year-old car salesman Joe "Flash" Gordon, who has been in the business for 50 years, and managed one of the first minority-owned Standard Oil stations in the country.
