If you've been listening to Morning Edition the past couple days, you've probably noticed some new voices on our airwaves. That's because Ideastream Public Media's Sound of Us is launching its latest series this week, this time featuring students from Richmond Heights Secondary School. Topics cover everything from recycling, to cursive writing, to grieving the death of a grandparent.

Ideastream's Justin Glanville has been working with the students all semester to report and produce their stories. He joins the "Sound of Ideas" this hour along with a student and a teacher to share some of the project.

Also this hour, we talk about efforts to prevent young people from accidentally overdosing on drugs, including the powerful opioid fentanyl, through the rising use of fentanyl testing strips.

And, we'll meet a member of both the Toy Industry Hall of Fame and the Rotational Molding Hall of Fame, who was recently given another honor, being named one of Crain's Cleveland Business's Eight over 80. It kicks off a series of four conversations we're having with some of these outstanding octogenarians.
