Every year, Cleveland Clinic doctors conference and decide what they believe will be the top ten medical innovations for the next year. This year's top ten list include innovations relating to diabetes, prostate cancer and postpartum depression. The number one innovation of the list is the next generation of mRNA vaccinology. You'll remember that as the technology that led to the life-saving COVID-19 vaccine in less than a year.
Also this hour, Ideastream Public Media's Kabir Bhatia will join us to talk about why so many cities villages and townships in Cuyahoga County have the word "Heights" in their names...
And, we'll discuss a big change coming to Ideastream Public Media at the end of this month. Starting Monday, March 28th, WKSU will become the primary news and information station for Northeast Ohio, and the programming that you hear on 90.3 will move to 89.7 WKSU, and to 104.9.
Also on March 28th, 90.3 will start carrying the classical programming that you hear now on 104.9 WCLV. And 90.3's call letters will become WCLV.
It's a lot of changes, so we brought on Ideastream Public Media General Manager Jenny Northern to help answer them. If you still have any questions, send them to comments@ideastream.org, and we will revisit this topic on our air a few more times this month.
