As the Cleveland mayoral contest nears the general election, we devote our podcast to the two final candidates: Justin Bibb and Kevin Kelley.
Cleveland voters will make their choice for a new mayor on November 2. It will mean that either Justin Bibb or Kevin Kelley will become the mayor-elect of the city--the first change in leadership at the city's top job in 16 years.
Throughout the campaign we have been bringing you in-depth coverage of the candidates and issues involved in the race through our podcast, "After Jackson: Cleveland's Next Mayor." Each Wednesday we have been bringing you those episodes here on The Sound of Ideas.
Over the next two weeks on the podcast, Ideastream Public Media, senior reporter, Nick Castele will be taking an in-depth look at each of the final candidates: who they are, how they got here and what they have accomplished.
Up first: Justin Bibb Next week, the podcast will focus on Kevin Kelley. You can follow the After Jackson: Cleveland's Next Mayor podcast and download it from iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher and NPR One. We will also continue to bring you the episodes weekly here on The Sound of Ideas.
