The Senate Judiciary Committee will conduct an unprecedented hearing. Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh will tesitify in response to allegations of assault in his youth. One of his accusers, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, also will testify before the committee. The president calls this a con by Democrats seeking to delay Kavanaugh's confirmation and Republicans are pushing for a vote as soon as September 28. Democrats say a thorough investigation is needed.
