The Sound of Ideas: Payday Loan Regulations; Adoption Journey; Statehouse Update

Regulations released last week by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau aim to crack down on so-called payday lenders and keep customers who use the services from becoming trapped in debt.  But the regulations are expected to face opposition from Congress.  We'll discuss whether those rules would have any impact here.     Plus, we'll talk about the emotional journey of adult adoptees as they navigate choices which may include seeking out birth families.  Experts say understanding the emotional underpinnings of adoption can help parents better support their children.  And, we'll check in with the Statehouse team to find out what's ahead for lawmakers in Columbus this week.
