The nation's new Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, in a sweeping memo to US federal prosecutors, has called for feds to pursue the most "severe provable charges" carrying the heftiest penalties.  Opponents say its an effort to bring back the policies from the war on drugs era. We'll talk to the Acting US Attorney about what the attorney general's memo means for cases here in Northeast Ohio where the opioid epidemic keeps growing.      Then, that drug crisis is putting more children in the care of county authorities.  Now Cuyahoga County is trying to recruit more foster parents to help.

David Sierleja, Acting US Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio
Marc Mauer, Executive Director, The Sentencing Project
Cynthia Weiskittel, Director, Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services
Kathleen Sullivan, Senior Manager, Caregiver Resource Management
Michelle Pankratz, Foster Parent
