Three students from Cleveland State University worked to convince the City of Euclid to remove domestic violence as an offense covered by the city's nuisance law. Such ordinances are on the books in many cities in Ohio including about a dozen here in Cuyahgoa County. The ACLU of Ohio says the laws can unfairly target domestic violence victims and potentially prevent them from calling for help.
