Chances are, you have heard very little about Ohio Issue 2, the proposed constitutional amendment that would create an oversight board for the livestock industry. It's coming from an unlikely place--members of the livestock industry itself. Advocates appear to be trying to pre-emptively self-regulate the industry before anything like California's Proposition 2--The Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act--can be introduced in the Buckeye State.
