Diabetes is one of the fastest growing diseases in America. It has nearly doubled in the last decade and 10% of the U.S. population is expected to have it by 2010. Some 24-million already do and almost a quarter of those don't know it yet. Diabetes often leads to heart disease, kidney failure, blindness and amputations. Even so, it is one of the most preventable of chronic killers.
