THIS WEEK WE WANT TO GIVE OUR A+ TO A GROUP OF STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN GETTING THEIR NEWSPAPER ON TOO. THEIR PAPER IS CALLED THE CLASS NEWS, AND IT'S PUBLISHED BY THE NEWSPAPER COMMITTEE IN MICHELLE MORGAN'S FOURTH GRADE CLASS AT CENTRAL TRAIL ELEMENTARY IN SYLVANIA, WHICH IS IN LUCAS COUNTY.
WE GOT A LETTER FROM THIS COMMITTEE OF STUDENTS, WHO TELL US THAT THEY HAVE FIVE EDITORS, A DESIGNER-TECHNICIAN, A MANAGER, AND A WHOLE GROUP OF DEDICATED JOURNALISTS WHO WROTE ARTICLES FOR THE PAPER. NOW THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SOLID CREW.
THE STUDENTS ARE PRACTICING SKILLS LIKE CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS, SUCH AS THIS ONE WITH THE SCHOOL'S PRINCIPAL, MRS. OGREN. THEY'RE ALSO WRITING EDITORIALS AND COVERING TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THEIR SCHOOL, AS WELL AS PROVIDING USEFUL INFORMATION TO THEIR READERS.
WE'RE EXCITED TO SEE MORE STUDENTS LEARNING ABOUT HOW TO PRACTICE GOOD JOURNALISM, WHICH IS SOMETHING WE BELIEVE, IS VERY IMPORTANT. SO THANKS FOR REACHING OUT TO US, CLASS NEWS CREW. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR THOUGHTFUL AND THOROUGH PETITION, WE'RE GIVING YOU THIS WEEK'S NEWSDEPTH A+.
