Kids Hunt for Beeping Eggs

Hear that? That's the sound of an Easter egg designed especially for blind children, and it's part of a special project designed to let visually-impaired kids participate in some spring holiday fun.

They can't use their eyes, so they use their ears. Children in California honed in on the beeping to find the eggs, which were exchanged for treats. Twenty-six kids participated in the event, which was the concept of a Bakersfield police officer.

Similar beeping egg hunts were held in communities across the U.S, including here in Ohio.
