Disparities in Breast Cancer Outcomes

According to a new report released this week by the American Cancer Society, the rate at which African American women are diagnosed with breast cancer has increased and now mirrors the rate of white women, which historically has been higher. The troubling fact is, African American women continue to die more from the disease.
