With Monday night's swearing in ceremony, Cleveland's turn to a new city council is complete. But what will differ from the processes and actions we saw before this week?

We'll find out by first talking with the leadership of that 17-member body - including a new President of council Blaine Griffin, and a new Majority leader Kerry MacCormack.

During his first speech as President, Blaine Griffin addressed 'taking care of Clevelanders', seeming to address his remarks to new Mayor Justin Bibb also sworn in on Monday.

How will these two bodies complement each other? How might they work to improve Cleveland's longstanding issues; poverty, food insecurity, lead poisoning, blight, crime, infant mortality, and more.

All as we enter year three of a pandemic that continues to wreak havoc on our residents' health, and on the local economy?

After we talk with the members of Council, we hear from two Ideastream Public Media reporters who have been covering issues across the city, and the incoming Bibb administration.

Matt Richmond will give us an update on what the Bibb administration is facing regarding public safety, and Nick Castele will provide his input as he's been closely following the incoming administration.
