General Motors Creates Self-Driving Car Team

Well, maybe by the time some of you get your driver's license, the vehicles we use to get from point 'A' to point 'B' -- will look a bit different.

Car maker General Motors is shifting its efforts to build self-driving cars, into high gear. The company created a dedicated self-driving vehicle team that started working together on Monday. It will be led by one of GM’s vice presidents.

Its goal? To figure out a strategy to make the company the leader in self-driving technology. The move shows self-driving cars are not just as a concept for GM any more. But that the company sees them as something that can work in the real world.
