Salt is often a hidden ingredient. It's abundant in the American diet, yet often we don't even know we're eating it. Last week, the Institute of Medicine issued a report calling on the federal government to limit the amount of salt manufacturers put in our food. Diane Suchetka is following this story for the Plain Dealerand in today's health section writes about steps Ohioans can take to limit the salt they eat without sacrificing taste.
