The latest statistics from the Ohio Department of Mental Health reveal a disturbing trend among our state's teenagers. According to the Department, one in five high school students has considered committing suicide, and about one in 12 has actually tried. High schools in Beachwood, Shaker and Lakewood are among 50 schools in the Greater Cleveland area that are taking part in a program called Recognizing Adolescent Depression. It's taught over the course of two days by the Suicide Prevention Education Alliance. ideastream's Eric Wellman has more.
