Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome; Life Expectancy Report; Statehouse Update

They are the tiniest and most vulnerable victims being impacted by the opioid crisis.  Infants, exposed to drugs in the womb are born with withdrawal symptoms that require special treatment.  We'll discuss innovative efforts happening here in Cleveland to support both newborns, and their mothers. Then, the Centers for Disease Control says life expectancy for the United States inched downward again last year.   While the drop may not sound like a big number, researchers tell us it says quite a bit about the current state of health for Americans.  We'll discuss some of the issues which are driving the downward decline.  Finally,  lawmakers prepare for the possibility of a rare after-Christmas session designed to overturn vetoes by Governor Kasich.
