This is the second stop on The Sound of Ideas Community Tour, taped on June 20th, 2017. We set up inside the beautiful Sandusky Library, with a panel of locals to discuss all things Lake Erie. We discussed how Sandusky and the greater region relies on Lake Erie for drinking water, trade, fishing, agriculture, recreation and tourism and how it is emblematic of much of Northern Ohio. And, we learned about local efforts to protect the lake from algal blooms, invasive species and pollution and about future funding concerns that might impact the work of researchers and conservationists.
