As Thanksgiving approaches, we’ll take a look at what it’s like to live in poverty in Northeast Ohio. What are the day-to-day decisions people without money make to simply survive? We’ll speak with Kathy Edin, an author who spent parts of three years living with the poorest of Cleveland residents and with Linda Tirado an author who has experienced poverty first-hand. We’ll also discuss possible solutions to living in poverty with spokespersons from Policy Matters Ohio and the Buckeye Institute.
