Paris Attack Update / Stopping "Stop Outs"

collegedegrees360/flickr

Political science professor Pete Moore and Michael Scharf, Dean and Director of Case Western Reserve School of Law, provide their prospective on the impact on the November 12 terrorist attacks in Paris.

Then switching gears, we discuss college students who quit college before getting their degree. These students are often referred to as “stop outs", and some universities are beginning to use data mining systems to identify those who are at risk of leaving before it’s too late. This show will explore if this idea may be a game changer in the way colleges keep students from falling between the cracks.
