On Tuesday, Cuyahoga County Executive, Armond Budish, announced a new plan for a public-private partnership that could help spur the area’s start up growth. In the proposal, the county will loan more than four million dollars to local start up accelerator, Jumpstart Inc, to fund area entrepreneurs. And how do large scale investments in to the startup scene effect the local economy? We’ll explore these thoughts with the county executive, business leaders and local entrepreneurs who can give a firsthand view of what exactly startup funding can accomplish.
