In this week's show we learn about two bans in Canada that are aimed at helping wildlife and the environment - a ban on single-use plastics and a ban on keeping dolphins and whales in captivity. Rewatch the story above.

We asked you to tell us about a ban you would make to help wildlife and the environment. Here are some of your great answers!

Brenden, J&G Snow School in Berea: "I would like to ban people who like to destroy the animal's habitat. I would ban littering and pollution. If people pollute or litter they should have to clean up and restore the environment."

Emma, Emerson Elementary School in Lakewood: "One ban that I would make is to not cut as many trees down. Many countries do not care about how many trees they are cutting down, which leads to deforestation. Us humans give off carbon dioxide and trees collect that and turn it into oxygen. If we are cutting mass amounts of trees down then we won't have enough oxygen to sustain our atmosphere. If we do not have enough oxygen in the atmosphere then the Earth will continue to get hotter and hotter, which is why there is so much global warming. So in conclusion, if we stop cutting down so many trees, then global warming will lessen and lessen. Save the trees, save the Earth."

Anna, Chagrin Falls Intermediate School in Chagrin Falls: "I think that they should ban all single use plastic to save sea life and all the other animals. I have seen pictures of all the trash in the ocean and I would be very sad if all the sea turtles die. Also if they start to die then all land animals could too. This is why I think that they should ban all single use plastic."

Cameron, Tallmadge Elementary School in Tallmadge: "I think penguins should be banned from the zoo because they are 9,383 miles away from their home. I also think it is not fair to keep the penguins locked up in a zoo where there is no ice. And it's dangerous because sometimes young kids will throw food in the exhibit which is harmful for their bodies. And that is why penguins should be banned from the zoo."

Charlie, Cassingham Elementary School in Bexley: "We could ban dumping things into rivers and oceans, because that kills marine life. Also the ocean absorbs lots of the heat from global warming, so if we dump trash, chemicals, and waste into the ocean, it'll float to the top most of the time and reflect the sunlight and heat back into the air. If we dump things into rivers, they'll eventually end up in the ocean."
