Now this week our A+ goes out to a pair of, dare I say, sweet ladies? 6th grader Kennedy Anderson from Silver Lake nominated the pair.
Kennedy sent us a letter, like, the kind that comes in the mail, telling us why her Girl Scout troop leaders, Ms. Jenelle and Ms. Maria, should get an A+. Kennedy tells us that Girl Scouts learn how to help the community, and that Ms. Maria and Ms. Jenelle make it possible by setting up everything they do.
Currently the troop is working towards earning the bronze award, which means, Kennedy says, that they have to, quote, figure out a way to help the community not just for one time but all the time.
Other projects that Ms. Jenelle and Ms. Maria have helped them accomplish include making muffins and purchasing toys, boots, and coats for the homeless. They've also made animal care kits that had homemade leashes and collars, bowls, food, and blankets.
Kennedy concludes, most importantly, we couldn't do any of these things without Ms. Maria and Ms. Jenelle. What I like most about them is that they are both really nice and helpful to all of us girls. They are both moms and they both work, but they still make time to be the best Girl Scout leaders I've ever had. So that is why I feel that they should be your next A+.
Kennedy, we agree! You certainly picked some worthy folks to receive this week's NewsDepth A+, which goes out to Ms. Jenelle and Ms. Maria from Girl Scout troop #90588.
