Four U.S. cities make their case for the chance to host an upcoming Olympics. Representatives from Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. presented pitches to the U.S. Olympic Committee Tuesday.
Their hope is to be hosting the 2024 summer Olympic games. The last Olympics hosted by the United States was in 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Since then, the American bidders have been humbled by the International Olympic Committee during the selection process. Chicago and New York each finished fourth in recent years. The U.S. committee is expected to make a decision by the end of the year.
