Most of us have been impacted by cancer in some way, whether it's directly, with a diagnosis in the doctor's office or experimenting it with a friend or loved one. In the past few years, researchers made new discoveries leading to significant advances in personalized care - or precision medicine. Thursday night at 8 p.m. on WVIZ ideastream, a new, one-hour, ideastream produced documentary explores these advances both locally and across the United States... through the eyes of patients receiving one of a kind treatments and the experts treating them.
We hear from the film's executive producer and a local expert and patient featured in the documentary.
