Mayoral Candidate Interviews With Dennis Kucinich And Justin Bibb On "After Jackson" Podcast

Last week, Ideastream launched a new podcast, After Jackson, that will cover the seven-person race to be Cleveland's next mayor. The podcast will release an episode every Wednesday until the September primary, which will whittle the field down to two, and then continue through to the general election in November.

Every Wednesday on our the Sound of Ideas, we will air those episodes. Hosted by ideastream's Senior Reporter Nick Castele, it features expert in-depth coverage of this important election.

This, and the next few episodes will feature one-on-one interviews with Nick Castele and each of the candidates. This hour, we'll start by hearing from former Congressman Dennis Kucinich, the oldest mayoral candidate, and then we'll transition to the youngest candidate, local non-profit leader, Justin Bibb.

Later in the hour, we'll pay our respects to the life of Dorothy Silver, a Cleveland theater legend who died over the weekend at the age of 92.
