NEWSDEPTH QUESTION OF THE WEEK: What's in your backpack?

Sarah, Emerson Elementary: My book bag only has a couple things in it but it can get heavy. Here is what I have in my book bag: a folder, a planner, 2 books, chapstick, a lunch box, hand sanitizer, 5 pencils with 2 erasers, and sometimes my music folder with 3 music books in it. So that is what I have in my book bag!

Andrew, Cuyahoga Heights: What makes my backpack so heavy? Well mainly when kids are lazy and are rushing to the bus that's when they put unnecessary items in their backpack. Like textbooks that they don't need. Items that should be in your backpack are homework, items that need to come home etc.

Paradise, Roxboro Elementary: I only have important stuff in my backpack, like my folder, my planner, and a pencil and an eraser.

Nathan, Rock Creek Elementary: My favorite segment of this week’s show was “First Lady Michelle Obama Visits Akron”. I liked that segment because LeBron James was in it and LeBron is my favorite basketball player. And that it is good that he and the First Lady are doing to inspire kids in their education. I also liked the one about the man who needed a wheelchair and those men worked hard and built him one of those cool off roading wheelchairs. I thought that was very kind of them building it for him. He got one out of eighteen in the world right now.

Dalton, JALSD: What I really liked about this week’s show was “Asteroid to Zoom Past Earth This Weekend.”  I have heard about the asteroid, but never really knew much about it. However, NewsDepth surely gave me information! NewsDepth is the best news show yet. Also, is it visible to us on Earth? If it is, have you seen it? I have seen meteorites, but never a whole asteroid.

Larisa, Pinnacle Elementary: I love your videos! I love how you put so much effort in your videos. You give so many facts about so many things that are interesting. My class loves watching your videos. Keep up your hard work! My favorite fall activity is raking up leaves and jumping in them. Or going trick or treating. Fall is one of my favorite season. The leaves start to change and it's beautiful! They also start to change color. What is your favorite season?

Jabriel, Granby Elementary: I think the Asteroid sighting and spider takeover is pretty awesome to know (Especially since my uncle works in downtown Columbus). I think the class with ball chairs are very, very lucky (I am honestly jealous so much!!). I love news cat (then again, I'm a cat person).

Madison, Rushwood Elementary: Hi NewsDepth. I loved this week's video. I think it is crazy to have someone get brain surgery. The thing that I liked was when that one teacher got her students those cool chairs with the mini yoga ball on top of the chairs. The question you asked is what is my favorite fall activity. My favorite fall activity is either jumping in a pile of leaves or going trick or treating. Also, on Know Ohio you sure are right those leaves out there are pretty and beautiful. You guys keep up the good work. I can't wait until next week's video on NewsDepth and NewsCat.
