Bald Eagles Hatch in Avon Lake

A PAIR OF NESTING EAGLES NEAR REDWOOD ELEMENTARY IN AVON LAKE HAVE WELCOMED TWO NEW EAGLETS TO THEIR FAMILY – AS 2 OF THE 3 EGGS IN THEIR NEST HATCHED LAST WEEK! THE NEW PARENTS HAVE BEEN SLOWLY BRINGING HOME FOOD TO FEED THE GROWING FAMILY.

OUR NATIONAL SYMBOL, THE BALD EAGLE WAS ONCE IN DANGER OF EXTINCTION, BUT STEPS WERE TAKEN TO PROTECT THEIR HABITAT, AND THE BIRD IS NOW FLOURISHING IN THE UNITES STATES.
