Obama Talks Jobs and Health Care in Elyria

President Obama came to Lorain County to talk jobs and the economy on a day when it was announced that Ohio is among 43 states that saw unemployment rise in December. The President acknowledged that his agenda took a hit this week with the Republican win in the Massachusetts senate race, but he told the mostly supportive crowd that he’s undeterred.

OBAMA: I will take my lumps, but I won’t stop fighting to bring back jobs here. I won’t stop fighting for an economy where hard work is rewarded.

The President said the recovery act should help people in places like Elyria get work. But one man wanted to know what more Washington can do to help a local steel mill that’s seen devastating cuts.
