After already slashing $5 million from this year's budget, Miami leadership says cuts may result in open faculty slots going unfilled, and some unannounced new hires being rescinded.
School Spokeswoman Claire Wagner:
"The cuts that we do make are going to be very strategic so that we're not affecting academics, student safety, faculty safety, or the student experience on campus."
The slowing of building schedules will impact Miami's main campus in Oxford as well as satellite campuses. But will not delay the new school of business, which is already under construction.
