Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark passes another college scoring record

A MARTÍNEZ, HOST:

Good morning. I'm A Martínez. Before 1982, women's college basketball was played under the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women. Iowa's Caitlin Clark, who's already broken the NCAA women's scoring record, just broke the old association's all-time scoring record, too. She did yesterday against Minnesota. Just one more scoring record left - Pistol Pete Maravich's NCAA men's mark set in 1970. She's 18 points away and plays this Sunday. It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
