The Detroit Pistons set NBA record with 27 straight losses

ASMA KHALID, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Asma Khalid. In the late '80s, early '90s, the Detroit Pistons won championships and were known as the Bad Boys. But these days, the team plays more like the Really Bad Boys. How bad? Well, the team just set an NBA record with 27 straight losses after losing to the Brooklyn Nets yesterday. Well, it's not too late to turn the season around. The Pistons still have 52 more regular-season games to play. It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
