The state of Ohio has approved a record number of tax breaks to companies to keep from moving or just to expand and create more jobs. Altogether, 30 Ohio companies have received tax breaks totaling around 60-million dollars. Eight of those are in Northeast Ohio, and will share nearly 50-million dollars in state incentives. Governor Kasich was at the Avon Lake Ford plant today (Tuesday) to announce a tax incentive package that will keep it running well into the future. Kevin Niedermier of member station WKSU takes a look at the give and take Kasich hopes will help turn Ohio around, and the criticism he’s getting from Democrats.
