Political Scientist Predicts Republican Infighting Will Not Hurt 2012 Elections

There’s been squabbling in recent days and months between the head of Ohio’s Republican Party, Kevin DeWine and the head of the Ohio House, Republican Speaker Bill Batchelder. He and some other Republicans reportedly want DeWine to step down, something that the Chairman says he’s not going to do at this point. What does this infighting mean within the party that controls the power in all branches of Ohio’s government? In an interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles, Ohio State University Political Science Professor Paul Beck talks about that issue.
