Ohio Remembers September 11

The worst terrorist attack in American history took place eight years ago today (Friday September 11, 2009). Many Ohioans say they remember that day vividly. Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles talked to Kate Morrow, Fritz Huber, Beth Dees, Paula Levitt, and DeWayne Knowles... some of the people who showed up the Ohio Statehouse today to see the one day flag memorial. Two thousand nine hundred and ninety nine flags were laid out over the lawn in a pattern in the shape of the World Trade Center towers, the Pentagon, and the field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania where terrorist attacks took place.
