A slowing economy has many startup businesses wondering how they're going to get funding. As much as they might want to they can't always turn to an angel in this climate. In this week's edition of upside downside, we're talking about a type of angel, known as angel investors. These are people who help startup companies plug the gap when money from friends and family isn't quite enough. ideastream®'s Eric Wellman spoke with Scott Shane, a business professor at Case Western Reserve University.
