New Faces To Ohio House From NE Ohio

Nan Baker, Matthew Patten squeak out wins for Ohio House seats

CLEVELAND --Republican Nan A. Baker unseated Democratic State Rep. Jennifer L. Brady in the 16th District. Baker defeated Brady 30,352 to 29,054 in final, unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections early today.

In another close race, Democrat Matthew P. Patten edged out Republican Colleen Grady 27,716 to 26,779 to take the 18th District seat. The two were competing for the job currently held by Tom Patton.

The elections board reported 100 percent of precincts counted -- 1,436 -- at about 6:20 a.m. today.
