Sec. Of State Brunner: All Counties Ready For Early Voting

Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner says voters in all 88 counties should now be able to take advantage of early voting. Brunner says there were problems in a couple of counties on the first day of early voting because in some smaller counties ballots hadn't been printed.

She says the power outages caused by the wind storms a couple of weeks ago delayed some ballots at the printing company in those cases. Brunner says no voters were disenfranchised in the process.

Today is the last day to register to vote in time for this fall's election. The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections says nearly 1,000 people cast ballots yesterday at its downtown headquarters.
