Senate Republicans finally approved former Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, giving the nascent agency its full powers. Plain Dealer consumer columnist Sheryl Harris called it quote, "a great day for anyone with a wallet."
