As election day draws ever nearer, is your local TV station giving you the scoop on candidates and campaigns? Tuesday morning at nine, attacks and defense of the world of local television reporting on politics. The watchword is brevity - but a think tank in Wisconsin now claims the average newscast across the Midwest now offers less than 40 seconds of coverage per program!
